CHATEAU LE PRIEURÉ
It was in the 10th century that the Benedictine monks settled on the estate of Le Prieuré, to live together and create a place of worship. Through the ages, its architecture has been transformed into a Renaissance style, notably under the aegis of the Count of Aupébin in the 19th century and the Count of Castellane at the beginning of the 20th century. It is to the latter that we owe the terraces of the Château overlooking the Loire River, which are now a major asset of the place.
